Engine has been running great since the new timing kit install, up until today, I noticed if I take the oil cap off while the car is running there is enough pressure to blow oil out of it.

It's never had this issue before now, as Ive checked several times in the past. Currently Im running a filter on my valve cover vs recirculating it to the intake, so I know that is not clogged.

I was thinking possibly a bad PCV?

Pulled the valve today, and still the problem persisted. Going to borrow a friends comp checker. Really hoping I.dont have bad seals or a bent valve.

Compression test is one of my favorite first steps in diagnosis...

Haven't seen an engine that doesn't make a mess when the fill cap is off myself, variable pressure there always seems to make a mess, even if only a small one.
