Has anyone ported the svt head or gotten one from tom? any big improvments or worth it

Not really , If your just looking to do a ported head on the SVT and thats it or with a few NA mods then save your money

You would end up getting more bang for your buck if you go, or plan to go, FI in the future.

stock head flows great from what I've read.

The cost of this is just too much for NA, I am not sure what the gains are with FI but Tom did mine.

I agree, you might as well save your money if your car is n/a, now if you have FI then the gains are noticable with a ported head from what I've heard. Tom ported and polished my svt head, actually i bought the complete engine from him, an we're still in the process of tuning it, I just need to get the wideband in. But I'll let you all know how it feels once we've completed the tuning.
