Just curious as to where everyone else has their ground wire for their amp ran at in their trunks or wherever it may be.

I'm running them off the seatbelt bolt driverside 3 seperate grounds I'm running a hell of alot of power through my car.
I tried that on the back seat bolt and it shows the alternator voltage which is around 14v before I put the bolt back in with the ring terminals for my back battery and amp, but as soon as the bolt touches the spot it goes directly back to my back battery voltage, even when the dmm stays in the same spot. Kind of odd, so I just have it grounded by a drilled hole in my trunk, sanded to bare metal, and then just a screw....it's been working since I got my car, but I wonder why that happens with my seat bolt? I would try the seatbelt bolt, but it looks like a big Torx, which I do not have.
