Well it finally happened.

I knew it would.

Everyone seems to have a problem at one time or another with their Focus, but I didn't really think it would be this soon. After only 4 months and 6000 miles I'm getting a PO 135 and a PO 141 code.

PO135---- Upstream heated O2 sensor heater circuit fault (Bank 1)

PO141---- Downstream heated O2 sensor heater circuit fault (Bank 1)

I had the code cleared, but it returned upon start up.

I am dreading my first encounter with the Ford dealer service dept and all the hassell that it entails.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this error code or if there is a recall or anything related to these codes.

2004 Focus SVT with 25,000 miles.

Thanks for the input,

NCFazer

I can run your VIN of your vehicle and check for that recall or tsb for you but it seems that it may be your CAT causing the issue. When you get a chance let me know.

Thanks

Thanks for the offer of help. It would be good to go into the dealership with a little more knowledge. The shield on my catalytic converter did fall off so maybe that has something to do with it.

the VIN # is: 3 F A H P 3 9 5 8 4 R 1 2 4 3 9 6

Manufactured on 3/23/2004 Build # 1742

Will this research indicate if any warrantee work has been performed on this car??

Once again, Thanks,

NCFazer
