OK. I take the blame for yet another spark plugs thread[hatchet]

I'm getting FocusSport 8mm wires as my first engine mod. Other than that my car is stock (Zetec ATX).

I've read that copper (one step colder) are better for SVT, or modded engines, but what will be best in my case? I don't mind changing plugs every year, for better performance.

I still have stock coil-pack (70k miles).

Thanks!

Stock plugs, Motorcraft Double Platinum.

The only time you want to play with heat ranges is A. if you know what your doing B. have the need for a plug to bleed off more heat, turbo, nitrous, s/c. Other than that the stock range is plenty good.

I am going to go off the wall and say copper core, stock heat range. No need to spend that much money on spark plugs (plats).

I would love to try copper core plugs, stock heat range, but couldn't find the part #. I've only found one-step colder plugs (Motorcraft) at FocusSport.

Do you know where I can buy them, or the part#?

I tried motorcraft.com, but for Ford Focus they only offer 3 types, all of them platinum (AZFS32FE, 417FE, SP478).

Thanks!
