Ok so I've seen people do some crazy things with this stuff and I thought that since it's 100% reversable, and extremely inexpensive, why not just give it a shot. So 3 cans of plasti dip and about 6 hours later, I give you...

My plasti dipped stockies!

Been on there for about 3 days now and holding up great! Completely changed the whole look of my car and I absolutely love it. [woot]

I was just about to look up if they make a dark gray version, but then I thought...I wonder how that will affect your fuel efficiency, as it's significantly heavier than regular paint.

Hmmmm!

It might affect mpg's but I bet it is so negligible that it really doesn't matter.

since you are at stock ride height, could you measure your fender height for me? I want to find out how much my car has settled after 25K miles on the FRPP kit.

Which one of those wheels is covered in graphite? The one on the right? Please say the one on the right.

Lol, of course the one on the right.
Can't you see it's darker?
The front/left is the stock silver colour.

Oh, wait. When you say graphite, do you mean Plasti Dip makes a gray version? Or did you use something like Rustoleum rattle can?

The reason I ask is that I thought Plasti Dip didn't make a gray. If they do, then I'm going to buy some!

I don't know anything about Plasti Dip, otherwise I may have done it that way instead if it's a better way.
