As some of you know, I just picked up a PW SVT ZX5 Euro last week. after browsing the forums, I've decided on some mods I want for the new ride. The car dynoed at 234whp/190wtq, so I know there is room for improvement there. It's on the stock PW tune with the stock exhaust, only other mod is STS and VF rear mount.

Planned mods:
Engine:
Borla Exhaust (off the '02 SVT)
HiFlo Cat
JayRacing COP ignition
Dyno Tune

Exterior:
Powdercoat the euros black/
or black OZ ultraleggaras

Interior:
Euro center console
Wideband AFR gauge

If anyone has any other suggestions, let me know. I am also looking for an upgraded suspension without a huge ride harshness penalty (the kyb agx/eibach sportlines on my '02 are a little stiff for my liking)

I'd highly suggest looking in the specific sections for answers to your questions.
I realize you're trying get a response from a very specific group of folks,
but then again, most of your questions have already been answered in the other forums.

I had KYBs with stock SVT springs, but switched to the full Koni Sport Kit this spring.
(Koni yellow dampers and matching Koni springs)
Mega, huge, outstanding improvement in ride quality over the KYBs. [thumb]
In fact, I'd swear it rides smoother than the stock struts, well, until I crank em up. []

Thanks (Doug I think) I've always appreciated your informative posts since I bought my 1st SVT and joined up a couple of years ago. Today in between raindrops I switched over the FRPP wires from my older SVT to the new one, and so the modding begins =]

yea, i have agx's with stock springs and it does get a lilttle rough at times. i want to step up to the s-tec springs tho, or the h&r race springs. idk i want a good amount of drop and also something thats gonna preform good too. so idk.

Go for the Wideband first, and have it Dyno tuned, most of your other mods beyond that dont require MUCH tuning....

Did your PW come with a FMI?

It's the stock PowerWorks kit, so it has the aftercooler integrated with the intake manifold. It has a front mounted heat exchanger, but not intercooler persay. That being said, with the traction control off, it spins em in 1st and 2nd easy, so yeah lots of fun already

^^^ I'm gonna do a HFC and the 2.5" Borla, after driving this one it's so much quieter on the HWY I can actually hear people on my bluetooth lmao, so I don't have any ORP plans right now

H&R SPORT Springs............smexy trust me

ORP....F-that HFC.....its too restrictive...I am DEF getting one before my retune. I can HEAR it restricting airflow.

Dyno tune....get a J&S, MAFia, and Boost-a-pump, so when your Knock sensor is going bonkers, you can turn it OFF and also not run out of fuel and air [thumb] Trust me I am right there and have to do those 3 things to finish my tuning....Xcal2 or 3 as well for the tune.

DO THOSE FIRST......the tuning stuff.......just take it from me.....


(then again I love having all 3 VF mounts keeping my car vibrating and the engine tight, and the moan at highway speeds, LOL)

I have mixed feelings about the ORP, I had mine on for awhile and took it off. Just got to be too loud for me... Plus I love the sound of an AEM CAI which was completely overpowered by the exhaust, but you don't have that problem with that sexy whine comin from your SC

if you get a good muffler it shouldn't be too loud.
