I had a tach hooked up yesterday, but it doesnt work. (duh), anyways, It obviously needs a tach driver, but I read around the forums last night and came across the pin 48 on the ECU. It said that this pin provides a clean tach signal. I'm wondering if this is true, and for what years and models this applies to. Also, whats the best way to get the wire to stay in the hole?

fyi, I have an 02, se, zetec, ATX.

this weekend is gonna be crazy cuz i will be watching the seahawks win but if no reply's just bump this thread and i will look at the ECU pin out documents and get you the correct one for your 2002 SE

if you dont mind throwing in and extra look up for my 07 SE that would be great. I really want to avoid buying a tach driver, but if it is really needed then I will.

Thanks!
