I have a Canon 30D, kit lens, and a Bogen tri-pod. Having a good tri-pod for night shots is essential. Most of these were anywhere from 4 to 25 second exposures.

those are awesome pics.. how did you get those shots?

Shots 5 and 6 has had some post-processing done. []

Pics 5 is awsome! What software are you using?

I'm using Paint Shop Pro X (10). I wish I could afford Photoshop... but, you know. Doing that is real easy too, takes about 3-5 minutes. Basically the same thing in pic 6, just the background is converted to IR.

looks good, and YES TRIPODS ARE KEY!!!!!!!!!!

nice camera and nice work in PSP... if you really want photoshop there are ways to get it... i got it strictly for educational purposes.
