Sunday Oct. 19th the Philly SCCA will be running at...Citizens Bank Park in South Philly! This will be a members only event so that we can showcase the safety, courtesy, and professionalism that we show at all events to the Phillies organization. If all goes well, we will have this venue for next year. If you are not a full-time member, join the SCCA. If you're too scared to join, then come out and watch, we're gonna have a FAST course with such an open and smooth track. The lot has endless grip, and this venue, if picked up for next year and beyond, may be the fastest on the schedule over Warminster.

This was a case where hp mattered above all else. So I paxed out 87th out of 98 cars. Pete was there with his svt, he was .867 faster, paxed out at 81rst.

You know, I used to like the big tracks, back when I couldn't do anything right anyway. But I have gotten better as the season went along (if I do say so myself). As I experience all the different venues around here, I realize that the ones I do best at, the ones I come home from feeling good, are the smaller courses. There's no sense in trying to compete with vetts on what is essentially a small road course. Let the vetts compete with me on a tight course! I guess I'm pretty lucky here because there's something going on just about every summer Sunday, and many Sundays there's two to pick from. Next season I'm going to make it a point to stick to the smaller tracks.
