i have a phase linear uv8 head unit, its a cpuple months old but now it wont play my cds, it says "BAD DISC" when i try to load one up. has this happened to anyone before with this head unit? if so did you ever find a way to fix it? any help will be appreciated.

I have the same exact one and yea it has on bad cds. i have a few burned cds that when i tried to play it they didnt so i threw them out. i know the way to turn on the dvd override so u can watch movies anytime. let me know if u want it

dont take this the wrong way but,

step 1: throw out wal-mart garbage

step 2: buy a real HU

that will solve your problems. [thumb]

lol, yea im already onthe look out for a new and better hu. but money is tight right now so it will just have to wait for a while, the mp3 player hook up works fine so ill just plug my mp3 player to it in the meanwhile.

it used to play burnt cds good, but now its jsut being stupid, as far as the override code, i already have that.


--yea now the screen is just grey, what a pos, good thing i didnt pay full price for it, hmmmmmmm maybe thats why its f*d up
