Pertaining to my 2002 SVT Ford Focus

After the PCV valve it has a 90 degree bend and goes immediately into a metal tube. I want to eliminate this metal tube and 90 degree bend and have it go straight to my oil catch-can which is mounted on the side of the battery box. Does anybody see a problem with this?

Also, does anyone know where you can pick up a PCV valve? Or is it a dealer only part?

I got one from a local NAPA auto parts store. The 90degree bend was the hard part to find. Could only get it from ford. As for eliminating it, not sure.

My PCV valve slides in and out pretty easily and I'm concerned if I get rid of the 90 degree bend it will just pop out under mild boost. It is kind of silly to have the tube run underneath the coil pack and then back up when I could easily just route it over to the catch can.
