i am in the middle of swapping a 2003 auto tranny from a spi into a 2000 spi auto car. I was told the Pcm needs or should be reprogramed for the latter model trans. I have done alot of research on the motors but not the trans. The new motor and trans came as a package. The new setup has only 3000 miles. It came from a wrecked rental car. The auto body shop that I bought it from warned me not to even run it. Let alone drive. I have to tow it to the dealer to have this " reprogram" done. Any help would be used and great. Thanks

it will run fine like i said in the other thread

the difference in the computer programs was made to shift points and line pressure.

if youre that paranoid you can just drive it to the dealer.
