my passenger side door lock will not work when i push unlock and lock.
it just stays in whatever posistion it is in.
but the driver side one is fine.

what could be wrong with it?

how much will it cost to get fixed?

It's probably a failed actuator in the latch assy.....assuming the wiring is ok. My driver side failed this past summer. It wouldn't even lock with the key.

Mine was under warranty.....the parts dept wanted about $120 for the thing, not including labor. I think you can get one on-line from one of our sponsors for about $80. This is a moderately difficult job.
