So i have read the how to now i have the plastic cover can i just paint that with high temp paint i think that would be the same as the drum right?

high temp works...

believe or it not, regular duplicolor graphite gray has been on my drum for over 2 years now, paint still there, hasn't flaked, bubbled or deteriorated from the heat.

Painting the drum is a piece of cake, mask everything off, and make sure your car is raised, transmission is in 1st gear and front wheels chocked.

disengage the e-brake so you can freely rotate the drum as you shoot your paint.

its atuo so ill just leave it in park and the back wheels will spin freeeley and is the calipers just as easy

calipers are a bit harder, most ppl take them off to paint, i did without and it turned out ok, but the entire caliper isnt painted just waht you see, mkae sure you sand before you paint to get it smooth

And clean off good with brake clean or contact cleaner before you paint it.
