I have finnished about 85% of my dash (everything but around the gauges) And about 60% of the other interior parts Im planning on changing up.

But What does everyone think so far....

Changes~
Metal mesh vents
Red Vent Ligths
REd MAp lights
Red LED foor Bars
Blue um Vent rim?
Blue shift knob pieces
Booted the atx...(yes its red stiching on the boot, I ordered blue will be here soon)
Black passenger dash piece (was tan Yay paint)
Black/Blue door handles and um kick plates? (<dunno wat to call them)
Black/Blue Info center
Two Blue knobs

Future~
New gauges
Black/Blue around gages (that is drying)
Than start in on the back...

yes, its kick plates. i kinda like the mesh in the vents. Your dash just seems really busy to me. I would have done less to it, but thats just me.

How did you do the outer knobs on the radio? You didn't have to take off the whole bezel to get them off I assume.

I've tried tugging on mine a little just to see if they pull off but without applying too much muscle (don't want to break anything).

Were you able to remove them relatively easily or did you paint them in place?

I removed them I actually took a pocket knife while pulling on them and put it behind the button and poped them out....the bottom ones were a little harder but same idea. but i felt like i might break one of the bottom ones (I got the other off) so I left them black.

As for captcurt...

I understand what you mean by really busy but its not as whoa in person the black deosnt stand out to much against the dark grey of the rest of the dash (actually less than the tan did wayyy less) and the blue is a tid bit darker than the pic damn bad camra/flash. But everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion and thanks for the comment

I actually got them at Autozone and also found them at advance auto parts they both cary them stock the map light bulbs at lease in the 08 (guessing all models) are a standard size.

Hmm... okay. Do you know if the bulb size is the same as in the 2002 zx3?

That looks amazing. I really like some of those touches and they are definitely original. With a blue stitched boot that part will look amazing. I also like the map lights and will probably do that mod tonight.

Your brave, as I believe your the first one of us '08 owners to attempt to paint the interior. Props for that. It doesn't work for me though. Too busy if you ask me and it clashes with the tan. To each his own. Good job on it none the less.

ive seen it quite a few times, mostly just in trucks n SUVs. not bashing, ive been considering doing it myself for awhile now, just saying ive seen it b4. still very neat =)
