I need paint to touch up my car. I've seen it called Vermillion Red in some places, is that the same as Cardinal Red? Some people call their color Sangria Red, are they all the same? I'm doing my body kit and some touch-up I believe code is E4.

In 2001, looks like there was two paint codes for 'reds'....

Toreador Red Pearl MetallicClearcoat: FL/M6758
and
Vermillion Clearcoat: E4/M6470

So no, they are not the same.

They have color swatches but check inside your driver door for the color code to be safe - the online colors aren't necessarily that accurate.

Sangria = Toreador (metallic shade) and Vermillion = Infra (non-metallic)

As far as reds go, I've never heard of Cardinal Red, on a Focus anyway. Best bet is always to check the two digit paint code.

The Duplicolor site list 2001 Ford code E4 as Cardinal Red. They don't specify any vehicle just the color code. Mine is E4. No big deal though, just don't want contrasting colors.
