found a cool site that has PPG paint chip pages-

http://autocolorlibrary.com/acl_files/ford.html

you can look thru there (pick your year) and see the PPG # code cross-referenced with your factory color (for example: zinc yellow, ford's "B7" is PPG's "5586" as i found here )

offers some hope that i can get stuff painted to match my car. some of us aren't on dupli-color's paint chart!

1929? Holy christ!
I know that they don't have my exact color (Infra-red) cause when I got my moldings painted it's a tad bit darker (and it was on those little swatches that they have) then the color of the car. Oh well.

heh, yeah. needing a match for the factory color on your 1929 automobile, i thought henry ford said "any color as long as it's BLACK" ? [;)]
