So I had a SErvice engine soon light turn on on my 2015 SE 1.0 ecoboost. Read the code myself and came up with a P1450. Something about excess vacuum in the fuel tank. Thought it might be as simple as the fuel door sealer thing wasn’t closing good so I just used the filler tool to open and close it a few times. It didn’t go away. Two days later I put some gas in and suddenly the light is off. Should I still take it to a dealer?

If you wait too long the fuel tank collapses...........purge valve issue.

From OP..........

'Thought it might be as simple as the fuel door sealer thing wasn’t closing good....'

Replace the purge valve.
Did you have any drivability issues after your check engine light came on?(stumbling on takeoff, car feels like its driving thru mud, having trouble putting fuel into the tank and hissing at the fuel door?)
Its weird your car even threw a check engine light because mine never did.
