Hello

I have a 2014 Focus SE with 176000 miles on it. I got a clutch actuator circuit low. Ford is telling me this is something that I cannot replace on my own. Dealer says the TCM and actuators need to be reprogrammed after the actuators are replaced. This should be a simple plug and play item. Can I not replace these on my own? Do they need to be reprogrammed after replacement?

Thanks

You pretty much will not be doing that one your own. That trans has pretty exotic programming that has to reindex all new parts to work correctly, not something you do in the back yard.

Read enough on this site and you will throw that 'simple plug and play' idea out the window.
