interestingly when we took delivery on the 2012 the radio would only get 1 local am station. they fixed it by taking down the roof lining and making sure the POWER plug was inserted correctly at the base of the antenna which fixed it ... those shorty antennas have an amplifier....its difficult to find one that will actually help boost the am/fm frequency. Anyone know of any have have any thoughts on it?
They don't but I'm sure a BMW one or Mercedes could be compatible with ours! and i think it would look good [thumb]i never knew that our cars came with sharkfin ones![]()
haha you could buy a smiley face shift nob instead [and where would you put your antenna smiley ball at?
Yeah true but they still look a little like a RC to me, haha it would cost alot to get and i would have to have it match the paint color.I would take ours over the first Gen cars, they look like RC car antennas.
I would like to see one of the sharkfin ones, but only if it were free or close to it

Cause they look the best! lol i just emailed http://visualgarage.com/ to see if might make me one with matching paint.how or why would a bmw one be compatiable LOL![]()
yeah but he is saying that it only helps satellite not am/fm, but www.visualgarage.com just got back to me with a painted fin for $81. So i might do that.. but it seems kind of steep. Here is an article about the exact same thing, putting a Ford Sharkfin antinna onto our cars (well ford car that is)
