My 2005 ZX5 was producing a nasty clicky clunky sound, which turned out to be from the front passenger sway-bar drop-link. The bottom joint was seized. I went ahead and replaced it with the $25 NAPA version, instead of the $38 Ford version. The NAPA link isn't as beafy looking, but at least it's metal. It was also very easy to install, as it lacks the stupid allen fitting that you have to keep from turning as you remove the hex nut. Now it occurs to me that maybe I should have done the other side as well. I can't imagine there'd be any safety issue. Any thoughts?
