So ... I believe it would be a good time to bring up a meet.

Since the last park was a ok ... I figured we could do a few other things. Here are what I found.

There are the eateries in the Rice Village Area with lots of parking
There are some Great Eateries at the Fountains South 59. Also lots of parking.
Or we could go towards Fairmont Parkway and Beltway 8 for some food in Pasadena.

And Of course there is always the Race Track ... I didn't get enough info on these but I know there are plenty of 1/4 or 1/8 mile tracks ... and all of the tracks with turns are a bit expensive to pop up as meet in a week or so.

But for the future I think we should collaborate a meet and run to the Track in college Station ... and get a group discount to take our cars for a good spin. www.TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY.com

I figured we could do a meet on the 16th ... middle of the month and a bit before people go on vacation for Thanksgiving. Or if to soon we could do it the 23rd. But I believe you all would probably be saving up for the Thanksgiving BLACK FRIDAY of great deals. Speak your mind and we will decide as ONE. [] [] [driving]

but what sucks is, its starting to get colder outside.

edit: nvm, i cant make it. this is the time of the year where i cant request off or anything like that. this is retails biggest times of the year. i already have days off ready for waiting to be reviewed but its already looking kinda iffy.

TRACK 21 SEEMS TO BE THE WINNER so far ... I say we wait for the end of Sunday of Voting to Say it is Track 21 on Sunday the 16th.

I enjoy Track21 and agree it isn't too far ... but I know the guys in Pasadena might have a bit of a drive. That's why we should also incorporate a nice dinner after the run.

well it all depends on if i work or not since i have an interview on monday and have a part time job but track 21 sounds great and then maybe grab something to eat in pasadena.

May I suggest we eat somewhere in the downtown area ... like the rice village area ... It's like midway for all so that after the stuffing it wont be to long of a drive.

The price to Race is 15-20 bucks depending on how many people we have in our group and how many times we race. Also make sure you bring you Driver's license. If I remember correctly they request for that.

Well Raymond I talked to you a little bit sorry I was on my way out the door to work when you called. This Sunday sounds good to me @ 1:30? I have to wake up at 1:30 its kinda early and I do work on saturday. I might be a little late getting there. Has for eating I'm down for what ever.


*Its getting closer to end of season*
For those that don't know the "big kart tracks" close for the winter. I would like to go get a few 1/4mi times in before the end of the season. Its the perfect weather right now nice and cool low himudity. I vote for baytown if that track is open (not sure because of Ike). On the last day the track was open last year I went and it was packed. I tried to get a houston meet or at least a few cars to show up. None showed but Mightymouse and one other FF member did show up. They did'nt know about the meet. Well after that little incedent I would like to have a meet up at the track. We can all put foot where our mouth is and really see who is the fastest around here in out little group. I do say I am in the top three lol. *Raymond I'll get you!! or at least I'll get you at the tree lol*.

Well folks there you have it. I do say we meet at the "kart place" this sunday, but we should be planning a trip to the real race track before we won't be able to run. Just so ya'll know I will be going to the track not this weekend or the next one but for sure the weekend after that. It falls on my pay day so I can change the oil and what not to get the ole' yeller up to snuff for the track outtings. Whatcha ya'll think about that?

One a time for sure but I just throwing that idea out there. I really really need to go the track or I"m going to have a track-attack and that sucks. Took me weeks to recover lol. Ethier way I do plan on going to the "track" before it gets too cold. Ask Mightymouse how cold it was last year. The air was great. They said it was like a mineshaft perfect air. The only problem was it was too cold for anybodies tires to hook up.

wow lots been going since last time i log on. ok track 21 sounds good. its an hour from my place but should be easy to find if i take 1960 all the way. ok my question is do we have to have memberships to drive the f1 track? oh and does anyone know how good the game room is. i will be playing the laser tag had one those sets when i was a kid.good times!!!

ps will we meet in parking lot and go in at once or meet inside?
