My oil pan (Zetec Focus) looks pretty sorry... I think it may be ready to fail.

Getting the pan is easy enough, the gasket is a mystery, since I see two part numbers for Upper and Lower... ??? it's one little steel pan. What gives?

The lower "oil pan" uses RTV sealant, and the "upper pan" or "windage tray" uses a gasket.

Ok, so the tin pan on the bottom is the "Lower Pan"?

The salted states are not kind to oil pans... The rest of the car is actually looking decent... the Exhaust and oil pan are the only real rust victims.
