I currently have a catch can on the vent line from the valve cover to the intake tube between the filter and the turbo on a 2.0 turbo. I am trying to decide if I should put another on the PCV line but cant find it. Anyone running a can on the PCV between the bottom end and the intake manifold and actually catching oil? [spank]

I do on my cobra. But the PVC is hiding behind the exhaust header. Check out cfm they make a pcv delete that would work great for what your needing.

Its more then just adding a catch can , if you want to give me a call I will be glad to talk it over with you
If you can keep the stock PCV cannister it is FAR better then anything else on the market , it does far more then just hold the PCV , it has a special baffle built into it where it makes it very hard for the oil to make it to the PCV valve

Ok I'll give you a call when it's not so late tomorrow if you have some time. I've read that the current oil air separator off the valve cover to the intake is useless but when I pulled the old one that wasn't catching anything off the nipples on both ends that fed into the tubes had oil on them. Additionally, I have a light film of oil in the down tube off the intake side of the turbo going to the intercooler... So if it's not coming from the VC vent tube then I'm thinking the PCV tube if its been re-routed to the tube off the turbo. The car also smokes (blue) upon start up when it sits for a while which makes me think two things, oil dripping onto the pistons from bad valve seals then burning off or oil making it all the way through the intake plumbing in the manifold and down the valves that way then burning off...?
