i'm putting an oil breather on my spi and i was wondering what i should use to plug the hole in the side of my short ram where the line runs from the valve cover.

you can get a rubber cap and seal it

u used a short piece of the tube that came with it and a rubber stopper... just a temp until i can score a small piece of stainless at work and patch it over

^^let me re-ask that...what is the significance of having an oil breather filter oppose to just the stock breater set up

Some claim to gain a little throttle response, but I haven't noticed any change. I definitely looks better than that damn hose any day of the week!

BTW I used a rubber bypass cap and adjustable clamp...

you dont get oil in ur intake....If u look on the lil soft pad where the hose connects to the intake box it's all oily. where if u have a breather....no oil.

you also want to make sure there is no open wires under the filter as you may have some oil dpipping from the filter after time
