Why does the ad say they won't work for the 2.3? It says the 2.3's coils have three pins and not 2 like theirs... I am gonna go check this out. I wasn't aware the coils were different... Probably arent.

To my knowledge, the 2.3l uses a 2-pin design as well. I only remember 2 wires going to each coil.
