So i get this scraping/grinding noise under moderate acceleration during turns. any thoughts? im hoping its not in the diff. my car is a 2007 so it should be under warranty right? first new car ive ovned so i have never tried a warranty repair. a little nervous i might get stuck with a huge bill[paranoid]

My guess would be the rear drums are froze up a little. Seems they just don't heat up enough to melt on short trips.

The standard warranty is 3/36, which covers most everything. Be sure to tell the dealer to inform you if the repair is not covered when you take it in.

And be sure you can demonstrate the noise to the service writer.....they probably won't find anything if they don't hear anything on their road test.

the noise is definitely from the front. it also seems to be worse the colder it is. i wish it wasnt so cold so i could get under the car and take a look.
