Does anybody know if the suspension is the same on North American Focus vs. the European ones? I have a chance to buy some new MKI springs for a German Kombi model.

Is there a post showing the differences? I know the Focus S2 had the "European inspired" suspension....

From what what I have seen so far,

-European models had electronic climate control as an option.
-Digital clock in dash.
-European front and rear bumpers/lights (with electronic headlight levelers).
-European grill.
-Passenger side dash shelf (North American models had standard SRS)
-Storage shelf under steering column.
-European suspension.
-1.6/1.8 diesel engine options.
-Different alloy wheel options.
-locking fuel door.
-locking bonnet (hood)

Were there any other differences I missed?

I replied to your post in FJ about this. There are many different options, that most do not even know about that were available.

As said above^^^^ So many more model & engine/drive train choices for the over seas model, its unreal. You'll want to make sure to get the right dampers for those springs.

Yeah, I'm finding it really hard to find parts for my 15 year old car in North America. There seems to be a ton of stuff floating around in the UK though but the subtle differences (and cost) make me nervous about ordering anything from the UK.
