Drive on smooth bump free highways. Turning on the radio helps too.

Dynamat works really good [sleeping] check out this Hummer we did at work. We did it for stereo purposes, but it cut the road noise in half!

The best way is to use a sound proofing mat or spray under the carpet and behind the door panels. I've used Dynamat a few times and it makes a huge difference in lifted 4x4's with mud grip tires.

Since this is my first street only car in 15 years, I was amazed how quiet it was without anything.

Post pictures if you rip out everything to go this route.

I am stunned you think this car is loud. Mine is so quiet that I was within 200 feet of an intersection and could barely hear the sirens on an ambulance driving through it.

This is the quietest car I have ever had, including the 2 audi's. If your passenger farts, you will hear it.

I'm also really impressed with how quiet the Focus rides. It made it seem like I was in a bigrig when I got back in my Vibe

I sometimes think that the passenger window is opened, maybe there's a crease in the seal or weatherstripping somewhere. Other than that, I have the XM radio up too loud to hear much else.
