Hi Focus owners,
not sure if I posted this in the right section..... just yesterday I noticed an annoying problem. The light in back of my gauges no longer light up, so I can't see how fast i'm going at night. Can this be a blown fuse?

I just had mine fixed at the dealer under warranty. Just my dash lights were going in and out. I looked at the fuses and found that the fuse for the dash lights is combined with several other things that were operating fine. Turns out it was the little wheel dimmer switch near the headlight switch.

check the fuse first. its the easiest hting to check. and if it is a fuse u better get it fixed, cuz im not sure on the focus, but everyother car i've ever seen has the dash lights on the same circuit as the taillights! what a f up!

That is the switch i was talking about. Had the same problem and got the dimmer switch replaced under warranty. Problem solved.
