Ive read through so many post trying to find my answer, but my ADD is killing me. I have a 2001 SPI non-ac single fan and have never heard it come on, I have a bluetooth OBD reader and android tablet that I run as a gauge pack for volts, temp and rpm. I have seen temps as high as 210 and the fan doesn't kick in. I have disconnected the fan and supplied power to confirm it works, and replaced the relay.

What the heck am I missing? Coolant temp sensor?

Thank you for your assistance, and I will feel really dumb when one of you hyperlink my answer already posted somewhere.

You should be able to disconnect the coolant temp sensor to have the fan come on too as a working fan check anyway. That tells you the fan at least works then it is sensor issues after that.
