hey guys. i have a nitrous kit installed on a 2001 focus. ive been running into a problem that i cant seem to figure out. when i spray, it hesitates and bogs down. at first, i figured it was loss of fuel pressure from the pump. i installed an svt fuel pump and it still bogs. i changed out to copper plugs but i left them at the factory gapping. what should they be at? could it be something with fuel pressure? any help is appreciated.....

Have you changed your fuel filter yet?
Are you sure you are getting proper nitrous pressure?
Do you have a purge? Bottle warmer?

Both to much or not enough fuel will cause this issue

Nitrous lines not purged will cause this issue

Plugs wont do it , it sounds like a Nitrous tuning issue to me

check your lines for a leak especially the nitrous line.

purge if you have one

spray at above 3500 rpm

make sure the nozzle is pointing directly to the throttle body

Double check that your fuel jet isn't 'missing' (saw a guy drop one once, he didn't even notice it and started installing the line... that would have been bad... it was a 4.6 mustang with the plastic intake that shatters)

make sure your bottle valve is completely open and there aren't any clogs. If you have a nitrous filter, check it for any crud.
