Just picked up a 07 Focus wagon (5 speed base model) to replace my 95 Escort Wagon with 300k, has 15" steel rims..I'd like to get alloys for summer tires and stick with steel for winter...

Found a couple sets of Focus factory alloys online but they are all 16" ..any up/downside to moving to 16"? Or did Ford make 15" Focus alloys?

thoughts? any help appreciated

The early focus had 15" as well as 16" alloys. There should be no downside to using either as long as the appropriate tire size is used. For the early focus that was 195/60-15 and 205/50-16. Downside with going bigger is more weight resulting in more rotating mass.

there no problems with 15 or 16 or even 17" wheels as geezer said. the good side to larger diameter wheels is that they look better IMO. check the for sale forum on this site or check your local classified sites. there should be many set of 15" and 16" wheels at cheap prices.
