Something Like that Happend to me too.. Insurance did cover it.. But the glass Company scratched my hatch with the glass and told me it wasnt there fault.. After speeking with the manager It took 3 weeks to repaint.. Sucked

looks like someone got a little too mad on the 405....lol, jk. I don't know that a BB would penetrate the window like that, unless it had some mad FPS capabilities. I'd say maybe a 9mm but then again, it's not round.

if i had to say, id say it was a .22 cal round, u can tell in the pics that it had a lot of velocity and pressure behind it due to the super fine cracks throughout the entire window. if it were a rock it would have just cracked it, and if it were a bb it would have been fired at point blank with a very powerful bb gun. look around for small pieces of coper jacket from a round, usually what happens is when a round goes through a window it fragments into lots of small pieces, unless its like a .45 << those move to slow.

hope this helps shed some light on it, i did always wish that the back window in my zx3 would roll down lol

i dont understand this, some ppl are just idiots, same shit happened to my mom couple of months ago, she went outside and saw a thick chain and a lock sitting in the windshield kinda half way inside and half outside... paid ourselfs also at some local glass shop, ended up being cheaper than insurance anyways coz of deductables

yeah dude, you live in Cali, that was probably a completely random drive by shoot whatever-we-can deal..... it definitely came from the street, seeing as the hole goes from smaller to larger from the driver side to passenger.... and no, I'm not making fun of your state or where you live, I have a buddy that moved from there, and he said he's seen a lot of messed up stuff, like shooting people on a bench, drive by's yeah all that.... so I'm just saying... plus like knox said, gotta be high powered pistol or rifle to make those micro cracks all around..... and what did you do, hit the glass and make it all fall out? lol
