First of all, I bought my Focus used and it came with cheap "Capitol" tires. It only took me 25,000 miles to erase all the tread. Second, I'm retired military. Anyway, I'd been looking at the GTZs and when I discovered the wears bars flush on the Capitols, drove over to the Navy Exchange and ordered the GTZs. They have an AA traction rating. The old tires were cheap, but these tires are quieter, ride better and feel stickier in the corners. Like other posters, I want to get about 500 miles on them before I really lean on them. My suspension is basically stock SES, still has original factory struts and shocks but with poly bushings on the sway bars. For a daily driver, all around road trip/touring and occasional corner charging, I think these are really good tires with a street price of about $100 each.
