New to the group and focus! 2007 focus se. Have 4f27e automatic transmission problems. New remain. from Detroit Axle was put in. Old trans had same probs as new. First test drive was for 30 mins and perfect. Come back to shop, check fluid and turn off for 45 mins or so. Crank and drive, now no 3rd or 4th just high revs. No codes! Have exterior harness coming soon to rule out electrical probs since corrosion is on current harness. Used Mercon V fluid, solenoids all checked out good on a computer hp tuner scan tool. Any advice besides giving up please...

No direct clutch working which is needed for 3 and 4. The trans end covers commonly wear to leak there and reverse and if the cover was not new at the rebuild then trans has no 3 and 4. Lots of them do it.
