Hello, new to the forums...been lurking for a month or so & well have some questions for you all. I'm usually found over at the Cougar forums, but thought this was the best place to ask zetec questions.

Okay, I'm planning on building my motor over the next couple months & was wondering what Valves/springs to use? I'm planning on going turbo.

I know of the FR ones, Ferrea, & a few others out there. Has anyone tried something other than the FR's? Any benefits?

I want the valvetrain lightweight, strong, & rev happy. Thanks in advanced! So far [loveff] ! Been looking for a Focus locally because of this forum.

we aim to please! you should drop that really heavy cougar and get ya a real light focus the only other car on the road that weighs what we do are a toyota corolla. my car weighed in at 2700lbs. with me in it. Though I gotta give the cougar props cause it is made from the contour and I loved the contour but ford replaced it cause how can they sell a focus and contour when the focus has a bigger interior lol

Weight....pff the cougar is on a diet. lol The problem with that is all the weight is up front & not much I can do about it....yet.

All the foci for sell around here are automatics, or SPIs, or just plain run in the ground dogged. I have a guy that is thinking of selling his SVT, but it needs a new getrag.
