Just upgraded to a 2004 ZX5 SVT with 65000km (40000miles) the car has had 1 owner and has been meticulasly maintained. However I notice a noise that sounds like wheel bearings or brake noise (rubbing)from the front of the car. The noise appears as soon as i get going faster than 10km/hr it is really loud.it doesn't sound like engine noise however when I rev the engine it appears but not as bad. Could it be the intake? Anyother thoughts

Please help!

if its a bearing noise, it could be your wheels bearings.
I don't think that came out the way it was supposed to. You're saying if it sounds like a bearing, its a bearing.

If it's a constant, steady noise that doesn't go away and is coming from one of the four corners, it could possibly be a bearing. I wish I could describe to you what a bad bearing sounds like, but I can't. At 40k miles, I doubt a wheel bearing would go. My bet is that the problem lies somewhere else.

check if the tiers rubbing, then ur belts, or belt
If you're lowered or you have a larger-than-stock wheel, I would check this. If you're on stock suspension/wheels, then rubbing should not be an issue.

would the cv joint fall under the powertrain warranty?
Yes, CV Joints are covered under the powertrain warranty, so you're good if that is, indeed, the problem.
