Well last night was my first legal night of drinking....Bring 19 we went to canada. My brother, Mike, and myself...My brother is 21 and mike and i are both 19. It was a freaking blast!!!!

We started off the night with our favorite machine at the casino...the exchange machine!!!!

Then we headed over to Ryan's Irish Pub, threw a few back and decided we were gonna go someplace else cause it was pretty mellow.

We headed over to another Karioke bar, and i threw back about 4 more and a high octane jello shot.

By this time Mikes friends came, and we went to a few more bars, yet again me drinking some more!!!

Then I wanted to gamble some of my beer off but they all wanted burger king, so we went there. Then we went to Mikes friends house for the night (back in the states (aginst my will but my brother likes the one chick)

Woke up this morning feeling wonderful and now i love canada!!!!

[thumb] yeah there are some 'good' sides to Canada, that's for sure. Especially the alcohol content (percentage) in beer. When I go to the states, the beer tastes like water compared to here......lol

Glad ya had a good time and no cops were involved.....lol

It's probably similiar to german beer, it may say 5-7 % but it's based on a much stronger scale. Or I could be wrong?

I drink micro's with a 7-9% AL and that's in portland OR. If you go to the right shops they have crazy Belgian ales with 14% AL and 1 an hour is all you need. Great beer in the northwest and fun people too. Canada is pretty f'n great too though I've had some fantastic times in the great wite north, although there are some foggy spots or missing time in there too....lol

Western Canada has the best beer selection in the country. Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC are the only places you can get Kokanee (Kokanee Gold is my favorite), and we have a larger selection of Sleemans products (we were the test market for sleemans honey brown, another great beer).

I almost cried when I took a trip to an Ontario bar and they didn't have Kokanee :(

yeah some of the home grown brews are disgusting. I usually drink Molosn Canadain when i lived in Toronto, Saskatchewan has this nasty brew called Pilsner...never saw it until i came here.

Personal favs, Sleemans honey brown, Alexander Keiths, Richards Red, MGD (Molson Genuin Draft)

But however *sigh* our best brewing company (Molson) was bought by the Americans...Coors i believe...

WE HAVE NOTHING BUT SNOW AND HOT WOMAN NOW!!

beer takes a long time to get me messed up, it makes my tummy full before i can get drunk.

i do however love drinking beer as a refrement only example.

go throw some burgers or hot dogs on the grill or pop in a frozen pizza BEER is what im gunna drink,

now at a bar im doing mixed drinks which are really good or shots. i like mixed drinks at bars only because they contain more alcohol in them and they take a bit longer to enjoy vs a shot that you just pop down and you done.

i think 18-19 is too young to drink bad enough they got idiot 22 yr olds like me drinking. lol

If you want women, head to London, Ontario, their university (Western, i think?) was rated number 1 for hot women by playboy, or so i heard. I've been there, but I can't quite remember cause i was too drunk.

But ya, we have some awesome beers in Alberta. Big Rock is brewed in Calgary, Grasshopper is my favourite. And our drinking age is 18 [thumb].

Something I never understood about the US, you can own a gun at 18? but you can't drink until you're 21?

Isn't the alcohol content in Maudite something like 9%?

I don't drink beer often, but when I do, I like Maudite or Granville Island Brewery's Hefeweizen. Yum!

If she has a Citizenship certificate, she's Canadian. Immigrants are Canadian, too. [:(!]

(Yup, I'm an immigrant. I escaped from a "Red State" in the US almost 5 years ago)
