So was messin with the CF yesterday and did a couple test subjects just to see how strong it really is. heres some pictures.
1st on left is just one layer with some epoxy, it still flexes quite a bit. middle is 0-90-0 layup meaning the middle layer is 90* off from the outer layers. right is 0-45-0, you can reason that one out.

I'm gonna try breaking one later to see just how strong it is.

Now i need to get my hands on enough epoxy to do the whole wing and get my buddy to fix his damn vacuum bagger pump.

As always man, looks good. Cant wait to see the end result!

Are you looking for the stiffest combination of layered CF? and do you plan to only use two layers, or is this just for test purposes.

Umm... aside from the fitment issue, what size tire are you planning to run? You do know that a WIDER tire will not perform as well in snow as a thinner all season right?

but thats off topic, CONTINUE WITH THE BEAUTIFUL CARBON FIBER!!!

those are three layers and yes, its just testing for strength, and i've yet to break one by hand, its that damn stiff!!!

probably go 0-90-0 just to keep from completely destroying a huge section of the roll of CF.
