Hello All:

We just released our new Steeda Focus Rear Shock Tower Brace (13-14) - http://www.steedafocus.com/parts/steeda-focus-rear-shock-tower-brace-13-14-555-5753

Steeda's rear shock tower brace was designed and tested on our own in house Focus ST, and manufactured in our state of the art facility. This brace is manufactured using high strength chrome moly alloy steel tubing making this brace stronger than any mild steel offering. This brace will reduce rear chassis flex from suspension loads during cornering and over rough surfaces improving handling performance and long term chassis longevity.

This does fit the hatchbacks. It does not fit the sedans. Yes, made in the U.S.A!

The shock tower brace is designed to stiffen up the chassis.
It improves handling by reducing chassis flex.
This allows the tire to stay planted to the ground during hard cornering.

A swaybar is a part of the suspension, not the chassis.
It's job is to reduce body roll and improve the balance of the car by reducing understeer.
It dose this by increasing roll stiffness of the car at whatever end it is bolted to. (Front or rear)
