on my way to work saturday my car made a new noise. it was a high pitch squeling when making a left turn. i was thinking it might be a wheel bearing but i have never heard a wheel bearing make that noise. it was about 5 degrees where i was if it makes a differance. any help diagnosing this noise would be helpful. thanks

i don't think its the fan belt because it only happens when i am moving. i will look at the cv joints as soon as i can get in to my garage.

i think i found the problem. the metal rod that goes between the boots on the steering rack fell out of one side and was scraping the sub frame. i am not 100% sure it was this but i have not heard the noise yet.
