I got my volant intake today and installed it. The installation was really quick, and I can definetly feel, and hear a differance. I like it alot though. One question though, that trim with sponge thing (that looks like a hose) that's supposed to go over the top of the air box, is it important to have that on, cause I kept putting it on, and it kept falling off, so I just left it off.

its not that important, just to make a better seal, you could always go to your hardware dpartment and pick up a good replacment of door seal trim it you need to

I used a rubber mallot to help get the seal on.

Well, I suppose I'll glue it on or something.

OK, I got it on, without glue. I just used some pliers on it and it stayed on.

Good job, if you had glued it on and wanted to replace it later, it would have sucked to remove the seal.

Yeah, I thought about that before I went down to try it again.
