Hi everyone, I'm the proud new owner of 04 SVT EAP ZX3 in Screaming Yellow. Been loving this forum, and have been learning a lot.

So the car has 167k miles and I don't have much information besides routine factory maintenance through 100k or so.g

The car currently needs nothing, but I want to put in some preventative care to make this thing last. Timing belt and the associated parts with that are the first on my list, what else would you recommend to keep this purring smoothly and to give me some peace of mind?

I would recommend suspension

Inspect your motor mounts. Use the motorcraft or poly mounts. I just did full front suspension rebuild and new motor mounts and the car drives like a new one at 150k miles.

Timing Assembly

Passenger motor mount---- check others and get a poly rear mount from CFM

Updated alternator pigtail

Updated Ignition coil pigtail

New Battery cables

Rear wheel bearings

Check thermostat housing for leaks and get the metal bostig one or Contour version
