So while scouring the internet over the weekend for a front lip/spoiler I came accross this...

Looks like it's an SVT lip. I think I am going to have to take the plunge here, it's cheaper than any used ones I could find.

That's what Ford says too, they call it a front airfoil.

But for the price I don't think you can go wrong.
And Googling the part # turns up quite a few places you can get it, including RockAuto which offers a discount to FF member's. So that might end up being the cheapest place shipped.

Nonetheless, great find.

Okay, so its not SVT then, correct? It is what is on the front of this car?

How rigid is this piece? I am trying to find something for my 06. Do you think this piece is soft enough to contour to my bumper?

That looks to be it.

Being aftermarket I wouldn't doubt if it's cheap and flimsy, read: contours easily. But I've no clue if it'd fit or work for you. Sure someone else may know.

... but I thought I'd seen something about a Mach 1 lip on a newer body and it not looking too bad.

I have the Mach 1 lip on my 07 and it took a little work to fit it (slits along upper edge to bend it enough, cant see them when mounted). I think if you want a SVT lip to play with thats a great price! youd have to modify a real one anyway so why not try the cheaper one?
