I'm just wonder what the best engine would be to put in my 2000 se i need to change the engine because the 4th piston solidified to the cylinder and the 2nd is starting to

If you've got an automatic, here's the stickie from the engine & trans swap section on dropping in a Zetec.

Cheaper than finding a good SPI & no valve seat drop issue.

Is it really? Hhmmmm.... I might do this if/when mine goes. But I have a 5 speed. But to contribute to the thread, I'd suggest a Zetec. Better motor overal

If you have a mechanic friend you can buy a master rebuild kit for $600 on eBay. You could rebuild under $1000 easy enough.
