Considering purchase of '09 Focus SES, manual transmission. How fast can I make this car for around $4000? I'm guessing this would about cover labor and parts for installation of an aftermarket turbo or supercharger, maybe exhaust.

Main interest is races between the lights, so assume supercharger is the way to go. Brand new to Focuses and performance mods to focus. What kinds of 0-60 times can I expect for $4000 of "improvements"?

Good luck with that, though, maybe just buy a Chevy Cobalt SS, It's already supercharged...

Sorry, made the mistake of using the wrong words.

My main goal is to make the car more fun to drive, NOT street racing. Definitely not interested in doing illegal things... In 18 years of driving I have zero speeding tickets!!
