I'm about to start parting out a wrecked LX that has a good SPI with just over 100,000 miles.
I'm picking up the car this weekend and had thoughts of using the engine to learn to rebuild one to replace the one that has 156,000 in mine. But I think that I've decided to just replace the cylinder head on mine to avoid any future valve seat issues.
EDIT: Never mind, someone else with a blown SPI beat me to the car.
