does anyone know where to find exact specifications of ford oem speakers? im trying to figure out the difference between 2 pairs of oem speakers i have.

Good luck on that one. Specs are not published on factory speakers from what I know. About all you ever find is the wattage and size. Kinda doubt you'll get more than that.
IIRC the stock speakers are a 6x8 and are rated @ 5watts RMS.

2 options ask a ford specialist/dealer OR get the model number off the magnet of the speakers (along with reading the rest of what you can find) and do a google search for the exact number.. eventually you should find some file or page with it on there, my guess is it'll be a pdf file.

OEM speakers

If you go to crutchfields website they have a cool system that will outfit your car with the exact speakers that will fit the oem locations. So the front and rear door speakers on my 04 svt are 5x7 or 6x8, they show either will fit but I got the infinity 5x7's. You can also buy a speaker adapter that will adapt 5x7 to like 5.25 inch round speakers if you like those over the 5x7s.
